Yesterday was my birthday. I have so much to be grateful for.
We went to dinner with some friends, and took the day easy as this was a treatment week for me. Our dinner was filled with laughter, good friends and delicious food. There is so much to be grateful for.
The beginning of this year was an emotional one. To be honest, I was grateful to see this birthday after all that has happened over this last year. Who knew I would be feeling as good as I do now, and able to do the things I didn’t know if I would be able to do again.
Two years ago, I did 40 Acts of Gratitude for my 40th birthday. It was the best birthday ever! Showing gratitude is where I go when I want to remember all the wonderful things in life. It’s easy to do, and always helps me feel better no matter where I’m at. Give it a try!
Some things I want to show gratitude for:
Family – So supportive and wonderful
Friends – Too many to name, we are surrounded by love
My housekeeper – She keeps things under control
A home we love – Truly a thing we are lucky to have
Health – A year ago, we all had the flu, and I was weeks away from my diagnosis. I feel better today than I did then, even with all the fatigue.
Happiness – So much of it around us
Our dog, Rosie – She is so sweet, and keeps me company
There is truly so much to be grateful for. How about you?
